Middle Eight Hotel hosted PA Life Club members on 5th of July to a wonderful drinks and canapes reception and a tour to see this elegant boutique hotel in London’s buzzing Covent Garden area.
The reception was held in the beautiful Balcony area of the hotel where the hotel’s
General Manager, Christian Graf, gave us a talk about the historic building and what is offers now under the five star Shiva luxury hotels umbrella.
Following the talk, we were taken on a tour of the hotel in small groups to see the different areas. The tour started with a visit to the downstairs speakeasy bar, which is available for private functions and is also open to the public in the evenings and hosts special event nights too. Tickets for the special events can be bought directly through the Middle Eight website.
The late-night basement bar is called QT and it’s built on the foundations of the iconic music venue Kingsway Hall. Resident artists entertain the guests every evening, aside Mondays and Sunday, with music and comedy.
Moving on from the stylist QT we were shown one of the executive style bedrooms also one of the executive suites. All of their suites are named after songs and music terminology, keeping with the rich musical history of the building.
