Halloween at Sticks’n’Sushi

There’s no better way for your little ghouls and goblins to join in the fun than with a special Halloween Sticks’n’Sushi Masterclass. Specifically designed for mini-chefs aged 8 – 12, these interactive
workshops are packed with hands-on fun and perfect for all skill levels, from sushi newbies to future foodies.

Led by passionate and skilled chefs, the classes guide hungry youngsters through the art of sushi-making, teaching them how to make Pumpkin ‘Jack-O-Lantern’ Onigiri (salmon topped rice ball), kappa maki, nigiri and more. Tickets for a 90-minute class cost £40 per child and include soft drinks plus a goody bag to take home including a make-your-own origami ghost, ghost lollipop, certificate, bandana, rolling mat, chopsticks, a chocolate fish, and a Japanese number and phrase sheet.

Halloween spooktacular at Down Hall Hotel, Spa & Estate

Check out Down Hall Hotel’s Halloween open air cinema on the 25th and 26th October! Wrap-up under the stars as the hotel’s open-air cinema, complete with comfy seats, blankets and hot water bottles returns for a spine-chilling weekend of Halloween-themed movies. Choices include Casper (PG), Jaws (12+), Beetlejuice (12+) and Scary Movie (18+). Tickets are from £10 per person, with live music ahead of each screening and cocktails, bubbles and stone baked pizza on hand for alfresco dining during each film. For the ultimate experience, stay overnight in one of the hotel’s recently refurbished, fountain-facing Estate Patio Rooms from £300 per night and enjoy a free cinema viewing of both films with popcorn, from your own private terrace. Family films begin at 5.30pm with scarier movies from 8pm.

Halloween-themed afternoon teas

Guests can sink their fangs into Down Hall’s sinfully sweet Halloween Afternoon Tea featuring seasonal trick-or-treats. Indulge in brie & fig relish quiche, spiced pumpkin mousse and cherry bakewell macarons alongside finger sandwiches and freshly baked scones. Priced at £45 per adult and half price for children, it’s a ghoulishly good way to celebrate half term.

Sky Garden’s Halloween music night

Sky Garden’s annual Halloween celebration is back on Friday 31 October. From 7pm until 1am, the 35th floor of 20 Fenchurch Street will set the scene for the perfect Halloween evening with live music, devilishly good cocktails and sweeping views of London. ALR Music will set the tone with captivating live performances and DJ sets late into the night, while guests are invited to embrace the Halloween spirit with their best costumes.

Entry tickets start from £27.50 and include a Halloween cocktail. For those looking to add a little extra magic, VIP tables for up to six people are available, complete with two bottles of Moët & Chandon, two sharing platters, and dedicated waiter service until midnight, starting from £371.
