‘Up at the O2’ open for corporate team building

If your boss has tasked you with testing your colleagues’ mettle on the company’s next team-building excursion, you may want to consider the activities on offer at the O2 centre.

The iconic London landmark has launched a number of team-building packages for one of its newest activities, entitled ‘Up at the O2’.

Opened to the public last year, the activity is now available for corporate hire. It involves participants ascending to the very top of the O2 via a walkway suspended 52 metres above ground level. After climbing to the top, attendees reach the viewing platform, which affords 360-degree views across London landmarks such as the Olympic Park and Canary Wharf.

Companies can book an exclusive session so that the roof is completely theirs. This option also includes a dedicated climb guide, personalised video greeting and team video package.

The climb can be added to other new corporate packages including the following.

Rock the Roof

In addition to ‘Up at the O2’, this package includes a visit to the British Music Experience. This is a permanent exhibition within the venue and with this package delegates can get exclusive hire of the events space within it, to conclude the day with either a drinks reception, dinner, awards ceremony, or even a gig.

Grand Expedition

In this package your rooftop climb is followed by a party at indigO2, the building’s smaller entertainment venue. The open plan area boasts a VIP lounge suitable for conferences, presentations and award ceremonies.

Action Adventure

To top off the adventurous climb, teams can unwind with a private screening of a chosen film at the O2’s onsite 11-screen cinema, which can also be used as an enormous games arena, or to display presentations as part of a product launch or conference.

Prices start from £500 for a group of 15.
