5 ways to get into the festive spirit at work: Top tips from BMA House

BMA House at Christmas

Christmas is fast approaching, but with long days at work and the cold, dark nights, it can be hard to feel the festive cheer. Here are some top tips for getting into the festive mood in the office this year from our friends at BMA House.

Crank up the Christmas music
โ€œThe best way to spread Christmas cheer is singing loud, for all to hear,โ€ once said a wise Elf; so crack out all the Christmas classics, turn up the volume and sing along; youโ€™ll be feeling merry and bright in no time!

Munch on a mince pie
Ditch your usual afternoon biscuit and have a mince pie instead. This small pastry tart is filled with the essence of Christmas, so take a bite and savour the festive spices. You can enjoy tasty mini mince pies at your events at BMA House throughout December.

Head to a Christmas market after your meeting
Just 15 minutes away from BMA House by tube, Leicester Square has been transformed this year. Traditional Christmas market stalls are laden with hand-crafted goods and delicious food and drinks, as well as a Santa’s Grotto and shows by the famous La Soirรฉe.

Enjoy a festive tipple
Thereโ€™s no better way to end a cold winterโ€™s day than to enjoy a festive beverage or two with your colleagues. Mulled wine? Sure. Warm winter spiced apple? Yes please. Both these winter warmers are on offer at BMA House throughout December when you book a meeting at the venue.

Attend a Christmas showcase
PA Life Club members and readers are getting ready to attend a fun festive showcase at BMA House on Thursday, 1 December from 5.30pm-8.30pm. BMA House will be in all its Christmassy glory, with festive food and drinks, live music by Nick Stephenson, a tour of the propertyโ€™s stunning event spaces and of course plenty of networking. Watch this space to see pictures from the event.
