Story Events - until Feb

5 minutes with the founders of Dynamite Events

Andy-and-Dan-founders-of-Dynamite-Events

We sat down with Dynamite Events founders Andy Hackett and Dan de Sausmarez to find out how they got started and what’s special about their events.

So Dynamite Events – what is your story? – how far back do we go… don’t want to sound like rave dinosaurs!!

Before Dynamite came about Andy and Dan ran a company that managed recording artists and DJs as well as promoted live music events in the UK and worldwide tours. The idea of Dynamite Events came about through booking artists we managed to perform at brand launches, corporate events and fashion shows. We would go along to the events with the artists, most of them were terribly organised, ill thought out and if we were producing and managing them we knew we could do much better job. Dynamite events was born from those bad event experiences we had.

What can a company expect from a Dynamite Event?

Events are about memories and emotions they stir, how people feel at an event and how they feel after leaves an imprint and a memory of their experience. A Dynamite event is all always about people’s experiences and lasting memories which are always positive. We’re detail people, we want the best for our clients and their events, before, during and after! People experience is everything. Events should be experienced not just attended.

What differentiates Dynamite Events from other event companies?

Like many other event companies we produce, design, build, manage…. the whole 360 if clients require BUT I think our extensive experience of live music events and artist management means we have different thought process on the delivery of each event we produce. Events are not totally formulaic, it’s not just about process, every type of event has slightly different disciplines to make them a success. The experience and knowledge we have gained over the years of understanding people at events makes us different to other event companies, the detail, the delivery and the overall experience is hugely important, all the little things at events add up, they matter. We also still have strong links in the music industry which gives us a unique insight as a company.
