From the desk of Penelope Alice, Britain’s most fabulous PA: PA Life Club networking event at Arbutus

Here’s some food for thought: what do you get when you give simple ingredients to a talented, Michelin-starred chef? The answer is a selection of utterly divine dishes, a few of which I sampled last night at the PA Life Club networking event at Anthony Demetre’s Arbutus restaurant in glorious Soho.

The front-of-house bar provided the ideal place to network with some of my fellow members while we snacked on delicious canapés, such as breaded balls of fluffy mash, tomatoes wrapped in cured Parma ham and yummy lamb spring rolls – all of which are just a sample of some of the restaurant’s à la carte options.

Arbutus is available for private hire with a minimum spend and it can accommodate large groups for lunch and dinner. Anthony’s Le Deux Salons restaurant in Covent Garden, on the other hand, features two separate private dining rooms that can hold up to 24 people – the things you learn at these events.

I had a lovely time, with great company and good food. If you’re curious about this hidden gastronomic gem, visit the website at arbutusrestaurant.co.uk.
