How colour is key to workplace productivity

Businesses across the UK could increase their productivity by a third by simply introducing more colour to the workplace. A study by Exeter University has shown that individuals can be up to 30% more productive if they have the ability to express themselves in the workplace.

Leading applied colour psychology and business branding expert Karen Haller explains. โ€œColour is closely linked with emotion and behaviour. When we see a colour, we instantly feel its effect whether we are consciously aware of it or not, and it can influence our mood, feelings and, ultimately, actions. Needless to say, it plays an incredibly important role in any working environment.

โ€œColour is also an important form of expression. We are naturally drawn to certain tones of colour and our choices reflect elements of our true personality.โ€
