Chef Keith Goddard brings his Michelin star prowess to Battersea

Chef Keith Goddard has undoubtedly blazed a trail in the rich realm of food. Having studied at the French Culinary Institute in New York, learned under renowned chef Tom Aitkens and opened his own restaurant in Pimlico, whilst having a hot client list to boot from the worlds of art, fashion and business – it is unsurprisingly that his latest venture, Munch Food Company is making waves.

On the evening of Wednesday 27 January, 25 PA Life Club readers were invited to Arch 65 to sample the award winning food of this fine-dining catering company, and enjoy an exclusive private dining experience, hosted by the Chef himself.

Tucked away in the heart of Battersea, under a railway archway, a mere ten minutes from Sloane Square, Arch 65, formerly an industrial space, has been transformed into an edgy, stylish dining room. Unless you’re told about it, it’s highly unlikely that you would ever know it was there.

With a view into the sprawling, open-plan kitchen, guests were able to see and smell the dishes being prepared, as well as chat to Keith and his team of chefs.

A mouthwatering buffet of creative and colourful dishes packed full of flavour were continually refreshed throughout – tangy salads, chargrilled veg, breads, moreish dips, grilled salmon and apricot tart with oh-so-creamy ice-cream to name but a few delights. Wine parings came courtesy of a top-notch 2012 Chateau La Pervenche and Les Roches Rouges Macon (dishes can be created to match specific wines, FYI).

For those of you in search of an innovative boasting award-winning, hearty food, delicious wine and an intimate and edgy setting, you will not be disappointed. Each and every dining experience here is a completely bespoke affair. “I always want to try interesting things,” says Goddard. The proof is in the pudding.

Arch 65 is available for exclusive hire for seated dinners of up to 24 people as well as canapé and drinks receptions for up to 50.
