New luxury Hilton London Bankside coming soon

We enjoyed a sneak preview of the new Hilton London Bankside, which is preparing to launch next month in the capital?s vibrant Bankside area – Hilton?s first hotel to open in central London since 2006.

The hotel is superbly located within walking distance of key visitor attractions including the Tate Modern, The Shard and the ever popular foodie destination of Borough Market.

Featuring stunning industrial design, Hilton London Bankside offers 292 luxury guest rooms, including 25 bespoke Suites, an Executive Lounge and a beautiful Penthouse apartment which boasts a private roof terrace and a 100m2 entertainment area with skyline views. Leisure facilities include a treatment room and indoor swimming pool.

With a total of 11 conferencing Suites and 1,022m2 of meeting and event space, the hotel offers the perfect setting for grand celebrations or corporate events. The stunning Bankside ballroom, accommodates over 700 people with its own private entrance, an imposing 6-metre high ceiling, dramatic chandeliers, balcony and sweeping marble staircase, this is a spectacular venue for any event.

Executive Chef Paul Bates, formerly of The Beaumont and Intercontinental Park Lane, is at the helm of the food and beverage outlets, OXBO Bankside restaurant and The Distillery bar.

OXBO Bankside offers all day dining with display kitchen enhancing the personalized guest experience and adding to the theatre of the restaurant. The food itself will champion fresh British ingredients sourced locally and draw on the abundance of produce available at Borough Market for inspiration.

The Distillery mirrors the energy of the area, being designed as a buzzy meeting point for the local commercial area and residents of Bankside, focusing on artisan gins and locally crafted beers. Located on the site of Stevenson & Howell?s Standard Works, a renowned essence factory in 1800s, The Distillery pays homage to its heritage, serving a range of signature cocktails incorporating homemade aromatics, infusions and bitters.
