Penelope Alice heads to Brighton’s seafront

Brighton is quite possibly one of my favourite British seaside destinations, so I couldn’t resist the chance to head down last weekend with the PA Life Club.

A group of PAs and I headed down on Friday afternoon, where we were hosted by the Jurys Inn Brighton Waterfront hotel. Overlooking the sparkling blue sea, the hotel is in a prime location if you’re looking to impress clients or friends and family, (of course it helps that the day was another scorcher, with clear skies and a hot sun).

Inside our rooms a goodie bag was left for us to find, which consisted of information about the hotel and a G&T for us to make. After our quick pitstop, we were taken to the sister hotel, Jurys Inn Brighton, for a show around its facilities, including some rooms, suites and conference spaces.

We were then given another show round, this time of the Waterfront hotel. It’s another exquisite venue with plenty on offer for whatever event you are looking to host, whether that’s a meeting, away day or a seafront dining experience.

After a round of fabulous cocktails, we were treated to a three-course dinner in the hotel’s restaurant that overlooks the sea. It’s a stunning setting if you’re looking for a venue with the ‘wow factor’.

Once our meals had been devoured, we headed to Proud Cabaret for an evening of burlesque and exciting entertainment. It really was a fabulous way to round of the evening.

Saturday morning was kicked off with a hearty breakfast back at the Waterfront hotel, then we were all treated to a tour of the British Airways i360. I’m not a lover of heights, but the view you get from the top of the tower truly is breath-taking – you have to experience the i360 if you’re heading to Brighton anytime soon.

The weekend was a fantastic way to experience Brighton and all it has to offer in terms of a corporate offering. There’s so much available in this seaside town that any event you host here will remain a lasting a memory for each of your guests.
