Percy’s Den: brekkie, lunch or dins

Adding another string to an already stylish bow, all-day bar and restaurant, Percy & Founders has launched a private dining room named ?Percy?s Den? – one to bear in mind if your looking for a new haunt for business breakfast meetings, full-on banquets, private events or intimate dinners.

Science states breakfast to be the most important meal of the day and the Den?s menu is sure to give you a much-needed kick-start to your morning with their filling bagels, granola and savory light muffins.

For evening entertaining there are event-specific menus to choose from. For those wanting to book the space for a private dinner, Executive Chef Diego Cardoso offers a trio of three-course set menus with seasonally changing dishes. Think rabbit terrine with pickled girolles & mustard cr?me fraiche; goosnargh duck breast with watercress, cauliflower & granola; and peanut butter parfait with fresh cherries for dessert.

Interiors are spot-on. A monochrome ceiling pattern mirroring the upstairs entrance marble floor shouts contemporary, whilst the floor-to-ceiling, bespoke wood and glass bar champion traditional. One-off printed wallpaper from US artist Michael Waraksa decks the walls; a pull-out drinks trolley complete with bar staff to magic up cocktails from an extensive menu is on hand – add to this, adjustable mood lighting, a hidden 60? HD TV, Apple TV for air playing presentations, a Mac Mini and standalone Bose surround sound system ? it?s hats off to Percy, whose motto ?experience the evolution of the public house? certainly rings true.
