On the back of the launch of the new season of the BBCโs Great British Bake Off, SEASON, The Exclusive Cookery School, located within Lainston House, an Exclusive Hotel near Winchester, has created a new corporate package inspired by the hit programme.
The โBake Offโ package has been designed to challenge teams and build relationships through three challenges, each of which mirrors the format of the popular show.
The โShowstopperโ challenge tests delegatesโ skills by working in pairs to create a showstopper dish with a chosen theme. The โSignatureโ challenge allows amateur bakers to showcase their skills with classic tried and tested recipes, while the โTechnicalโ challenge pushes delegatesโ technical knowledge and experience, by requiring them to prepare a recipe with only limited instructions. Delegates are given two hours to complete each challenge before the SEASON chefs judge each dish on taste and professional appearance.
Meeting bookers can choose from a full day session, incorporating all three challenges, or can book shorter sessions focusing on just one of the available challenges. The package has been designed to bring delegates together to learn the fundamentals of cooking within a team, using ingredients from the larder and on-site kitchen garden.

Located within the impressive 63-acre grounds of Lainston House, an Exclusive Hotel near Winchester, Hampshire in a stunning 17th-century Grade II-listed well house, SEASON features a state-of-the-art kitchen with six double-sided workstations, demo area and an informal private dining room. SEASON offers a range of interactive, educational and entertaining classes designed to challenge teams and build relationships in an inspired team-building experience for the corporate sector.
Each challenge is priced at ยฃ50 per person, with a delegateโs apron bolt on available at ยฃ20 per person. The โTechnicalโ and โSignatureโ challenges can host up to 36 delegates in teams of three per work station, and the โShowstopperโ challenge can host up to 24 guests, with teams of two per work station.
