Sopwell House in St Albans, Hertfordshire recently acted as the host location for a one-day training session and three-day conference event for Britvic Soft Drinks. The venue is the winner of the 2015 Condé Nast Johansens Award for Excellence in the Best for Meetings category.
The event, which cost in excess of £75,000, saw 140 delegates get together at Sopwell House’s St Albans suite from 3-6 November last year for their ‘New marketing ways of working’ conference. The property out shone all the competition, including that of two centrally located, sought-after hotel and conference venues in Windsor and Heathrow.
Following the event, the team at Sopwell House were praised by all attendees for their “hard work, support and assistance in making the conference as successful as it was, which could not have been done without the amazing staff. The food was great – the lunches were varied, dinners were brilliant and our gala night meal was fantastic.”
Having completed all training, rehearsals and conferences – with the added bonus of a luxurious gala dinner – the highly successful event concluded with a spectacular, privately organised Bonfire Night for the entire team, complete with sparklers, fireworks and no shortage of merriment.
