Team building fun in the trees

Go Ape is the UK’s multi-award-winning forest adventure company with 29 Go Ape Tree Top Adventures nationwide. Visitors can experience a liberating sense of freedom as they swing through the forest on zip wires, cross wooden walkways and bridges, tackle obstacles and leap off Tarzan swings while enjoying some of Britain’s most breath-taking scenery.

With the forest doors open from February to November, Go Ape offers bespoke packages that create a full day of activities to suit a range of budgets. The courses accommodate groups of all sizes from 10 to 280 and provide a variety of delicious refreshments including bacon and banana brunches and sumptuous Gorilla Grill BBQs. Conference facilities are also available, as well as a forest shelter with exclusive use of the area and all of its facilities, including garden games like giant Jenga.

Before you head out onto the course, you’ll be given a half-hour safety briefing by one of its qualified experienced instructors. Here you’ll learn and try out the obstacles at low levels and get to grips with the equipment. The exercise isn’t complicated, but it’s important and it will give you confidence to enjoy your time up in the trees.

After training you’ll be responsible for yourself on the obstacle course, though there will always be an instructor patrolling the forest floor.
