Organisers of the Manchester PA Awards 2022 have announced Strictly Come Dancing judge, TV presenter and professional dancer, Anton Du Beke, as this year’s event host.

The enigmatic TV personality, best known for his role as professional dance partner and latterly a judge on the BBC dance show, will anchor the awards event at Emirates Old Trafford, The Point on Thursday, November 10, 2022, as it celebrates its fifth year.

Alongside the Manchester PA Network executive board members Amanda Hargreaves, Melanie Sheehy, Jane Brazzill and Michaela Wakeman, the evening is being organised by Manchester-based event planner Liz Taylor of the Taylor Lynn Corporation (TLC) and offers PAs, EAs, VAs and support professionals from across Manchester the opportunity to celebrate professionals who have exceeded expectations and exemplify hard work, dedication, and passion within their roles.

Guests can expect dinner, entertainment, plus ten awards up for grabs. For the first time in the event’s history, two new awards are open for PAs and EAs outside of Manchester to be nominated; The Make a Difference Award and the National PA Award.

Anton Du Beke commented:

’I’m delighted to be hosting the Manchester PA Awards in November. I am not sure how many of us, me included, could get to the end of a day in one piece if it weren’t for the support of our PAs!’

The Manchester PA Awards 2022 is supported with host sponsorship from Search Consultancy, and joint headline sponsorship from Kameno and KPMG.  The Manchester PA Network runs as a not for profit organisation and will donate any profits from the awards event to the Christie Charity. About Manchester PA Network

  • The Manchester PA Network, the Network is a not-for-profit organisation, co-founded by Amanda Hargreaves and Melanie Sheehy in July 2011. Since the network launched Amanda and Melanie have been joined on the Executive Board by Jane Brazzill and Michaela Wakeman.
  • The vision in 2011 was to give EAs and PAs the opportunity to meet, network and develop meaningful long-term professional relationships and personal friendships.   The focus was on bringing together PAs, EAs VAs and Support Professionals who were less confident in a networking environment and needed some encouragement to meet their peers.
  • In the last nine years, the Network has grown beyond all expectations and has been a resounding success, not just in Manchester, but the success has spread across the UK, with PA networks now being established throughout the country.
