5 must-see sessions on offer at the office* show

A Keynote session at the office* show

The office* show provides an unforgettable line-up of speakers and trainers. Attendance at the sessions counts towards delegates’ Continuing Professional Development (CPD) points.

Here are five not-to-be-missed sessions:

  1. Timesaving (and jaw-dropping) Microsoft productivity tips
Have you ever thought ‘There’s got to be an easier way?’ more often than not, you are right! There is an easier and faster way. Discover quick tips and tricks in Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Join Vickie Sokol Evans on Day 1 – Wednesday 1 March.
  1. Successful business writing
Most business communication today is written, but the fast-moving environment can see high standards slip. Create minutes that are informative and yet concise, learn to write effective social media posts and create persuasive emails. Join Heather Baker on Day 1 – Wednesday 1 March.
  1. Using LinkedIn to boost your career
This session will help you to have an effective, engaging profile, learn how to use language to engage employers and avoid the common pitfalls many make on LinkedIn. Nevil Tynemouth will be sharing his wisdom on Day 2 – Thursday 2 March.
  1. Taking control of your inbox
What can you do with an extra hour a day every working day? That’s what most of us waste through using email inappropriately. In this session, Dr Monica Seeley, leading international expert on email management will show you how to take control of your (and your boss’s) inbox. Don’t miss Monica Seeley on Day 2 – Thursday 2 March.
  1. Managing challenging people and situations more effectively
Delegates will work in small groups to explore solutions to challenging situations. Through theatre demonstration, PAs shall ‘see’ how their behaviour can influence the outcome. This promises to be a memorable and engaging session for all. Join Gerry Nwimo on Day 2 – Thursday 2 March.
