Advice on handling the alpha boss

The business world needs alpha personalities โ€“ without them, very little would be achieved and no great progress would be made. However, supporting such personalities can be a big challenge and PAs need to arm themselves with the tricks of the trade in order to help them deal with this type of executive.

The session given by PA Access All Areas CEOs Merryl Futerman and Josephine Green at the next PA Life Training Day will address precisely this issue. It will start off by analysing the characteristics of an alpha boss, look at practical ways to interact with this kind of individual and then suggest tools to build your confidence and help you maintain a professional image at all times.

Training company PA Access All Areas offers boutique seminars and tailored in-house courses; Merryl and Josephine count Miranda Hart, Jonathan Ross and Julian Clary among their celebrity clients.

The PA Life Training Day takes place on Monday, 15 June at the ILEC Conference Centre at the Ibis London Earls Court and features 12 compelling courses, each individually tailored for the PA community. Delegates can choose to come for the full day for ยฃ249, or for just a half day at ยฃ125.

The full-day option includes a networking lunch where attendees get the chance to mingle and chat with administrative professionals from a whole range of different backgrounds.

There are discounted rates available for those who have previously attended a PA Life Training Day and also for those who are members of the PA Life Club.
