AI and workplace dynamics top the agenda at miaSummit 2024

The changing dynamics of the workplace and the role of AI in the business meetings and events industry are among the topics being discussed at theย miaSummit 2024.

Hosted by the Meeting Industry Association (MIA), the event at Hilton Liverpool City Centre on 7 November 2024, will re-connect and inspire leaders and future leaders through a series of topical discussions led by industry experts.

The opening keynote by leading AI strategist and consultant Katie King (pictured, above) will delve into how the practice can revolutionise a variety of areas of the industry, before behavioural scientist Lea Karam leads a thought-provoking session on human complexities, which with tangible interventions, can drive healthier commercial and people outcomes.

In his Evolution of Food Service presentation, futurist Simon Stenning will reveal the latest intel on food and beverage while Professor Paul McGee will lead a motivational session to help attendees achieve better results in work and life.

The carefully curated programme will also see emcee, presenter and lecturer Shonali Devereux moderate a Workforce of the Future panel discussion exploring the changing dynamics of the workplace before the day is brought to a close examining the balancing act of responsible sustainable event planning.

The miaSummit 2024 runs from 9am to 4.30pm and will precede the miaList awards ceremony which will also be held at Hilton Liverpool City Centre on the evening of 7 November.
