Banqueting House announces daytime venue hire

Banqueting House

Banqueting House, one of six venues cared for by independent charity Historic Royal Palaces, has announced a new daytime venue hire offer, which will see a full-day closure for clients to hold events during the day on any Thursday, excluding school holidays.

As of September 2017, Banqueting House will once again be able to host lunches, conferences, product launches, daytime fashion shows, large set builds and all-day weddings, as well as evening set builds on the Wednesday for high-production events starting on the Thursday morning.

Jennifer Lockham, Head of Banqueting House says: “We are very excited to be able to announce daytime venue hire at Banqueting House. This is a great opportunity for us to increase both the number and scope of events we host at the venue. Evening awards ceremonies, drinks receptions and weddings are hugely popular at the venue and make up our core business, but with the new Thursday daytime offer it means we are now able to diversify into new markets and can once again host events such as conferences, lunches and product launches.

“As with any event held at Banqueting House, income raised from activities including venue hire is reinvested in conservation and education activities, to ensure the venue is well maintained and open for all to enjoy.”

Banqueting House is a firm favourite for high-profile celebrations, with past clients including the British Film Institute, Cosmopolitan Woman of the Year, Attitude Magazine Awards, Walpole Awards and FiFi Awards.
