Big brands on show at Confex 2016

International Confex will be dominated by some of the biggest and most prestigious hotel, destination and venue brands in the world when the show opens on 2-3 March at Olympia London.

Organisers are already looking forward to welcoming back destinations including Tourism Ireland, Glasgow City Marketing Bureau, Visit Belfast and NewcastleGateshead to the show. These will be complemented by up and coming destinations including Southport Conferences, Conference Eastbourne and Staffordshire Conference Bureau.

The show is also looking forward to the much-anticipated return of Hilton and Hilton Worldwide to the event. These global icons will join other major hotel brands including Macdonald Hotels & Resorts, Jury’s Inn, Zacchera Hotels, Melia Hotels International and Park Plaza Hotels & Resorts.

EvenTech 16 will also be a celebration of young tech companies, joining larger brands such as Eventbrite, Cvent, Etouches, Lumi and Shocklogic. The area will have a welcome and orientation area fronted by ISES UK Chapter that will help event organisers find the companies and profiles that are right for them.

“We have lots and lots of great independent venues, creative suppliers and inspiring organisers on the show floor, but we’re also delighted with the big brands that visitors will see when they come to Olympia in March,” comments Liz Agostini, Event Director. “It is these brands that many of our visitors are already doing business with and we’re delighted to keep seeing them return to Confex.”

International Confex will be co-located with the Event Production Show and the PA Show and will see over 12,000 event professionals bought together in the biggest and most inclusive event in the UK events industry calendar.
