Women in business: Win a spa break for two with Redfern’s SOLO mission: now ended

SOLO - Redfern

Redfern is on a mission to find the UK’s most lone female-friendly hotels and needs your help.

Last year, the Women in Business Travel 2016 Report revealed that 70.2% of women felt travel providers should try harder to address the needs of female business travellers. Redfern wants to hear your views, thoughts and ideas to help it award its coveted SOLO Award, dedicated to recognising excellence for SOLO female travellers.

It’s not about fluffy bath robes or nice hand cream (although we all appreciate that); Redfern wants to know where you feel safe, secure and comfortable to be alone. Where being a SOLO female traveller is taken into consideration when allocating rooms and seating in restaurants.

The awards are designed to recognise the hotels that are getting things right – whether that’s through processes designed to ensure lone female traveller safety, awareness of the challenges that women might face when working away, or staff that go the extra mile to make travelling for work as comfortable and easy as possible.

The online questionnaire is live and ready to take your votes! Click here to submit your vote now.

When you submit your vote, you will have the option to opt-in to a prize draw for the chance to win a spa break for two with dinner, bed and breakfast donated by QHotels.

The final day for submissions will be 31 January 2016. Once all votes have been collected, the Redfern team will shortlist five hotels for a specially selected judging panel to mystery shop. The final result will be announced at the end of March, along with the prize draw winner.

Hotels that have been identified as going that extra mile for SOLO travellers will be identified on Redfern’s online booking tool tRIPS to help bookers choose a hotel suited to their needs.
