Business Travel Show outlines Fundamentals Conference Programme

The Business Travel Show is set to return in the New Year and the show has announced its 2019 Fundamentals Conference Programme.

Specifically designed to help PAs book travel smarter and more confidently, the Fundamentals Conference programme will help assistants save time and money, while maximising their companyโ€™s ROI.

There are ten sessions in total, which are all free to attend, and will cover useful topics to help attendees with everything from choosing a travel management company to creating a travel policy that keeps travellers happy and compliant.

These sessions include:

  • Get started in travel management
  • Use corporate payments to save more, be more efficient and access more data
  • Choose a travel management company
  • Use data to make more savings and increase control
  • Negotiate the best deals with suppliers
  • Choose online booking and expense management technology
  • Keep your travellers safe and secure
  • Create a travel that maximises compliance and keeps travellers happy
  • Engage travellers and other stakeholders in your programme
  • Take the first step to managing your meetings spend

โ€œWhen booking business travel isnโ€™t your full-time job, it can feel like a bit of a minefield to navigate, but with the right guidance, itโ€™s really not that difficult to start cutting costs, getting better deals and keeping your travellers safe, secure and happy. Delivering that advice to PAs for free and in a really accessible way is the whole ethos behind the Business Travel Showโ€™s Fundamentals Conference,โ€ said event director, David Chapple.

The show, which celebrates its 25th anniversary in 2019, takes place at Olympia London on February 20 and 21.

PAs can register for free to attend here.

PA Life will also have a presence at the show with a stand on the show floor. Watchย this space for new announcementsย and what PA Life will be getting up to during the event.ย
