Signature Sales Support & Representation has introduced its latest venue partner, The Assay Office, Birmingham. A premier venue hire space in the heart of the Jewellery Quarter, Birmingham.

The AnchoreCert Academy, a division of the Birmingham Assay Office, is a purpose built, contemporary venue in the middle of the Jewellery Quarter offering a unique mix of heritage and modernity.

Assay Office Birmingham was founded in 1773 to provide assaying (testing) and hallmarking of precious metal items (gold, silver, platinum and palladium) as required by the Hallmarking Act. It has been a centre of expert opinion and independent assessment of jewellery and precious metals for nearly 250 years.

The Assay Office’s new home is located within the St George’s development, fronting Icknield Street at a gateway to the Jewellery Quarter. The environmentally friendly design is built to BREEAM ‘Very Good’ standard and includes an active mix of current Assay Office uses, as well as providing substantial conference, training and meeting space.

Conference and meeting facilities:

The Technical Training Rooms seats up to ten in a laboratory environment ideal for practical training and workshops including laptop, technical, cookery workshops, with a maximum space of 10 classroom style.
