CORPORATE HOSPITALITY: Williams Conference Centre

The Williams Conference Centre provides an experience that never fails to impress.

Based at the home of ROKiT Williams Racing in rural Oxfordshire, the venue offers a unique setting for events and F1-themed days out, ranging from Race Day hospitality, heritage museum tours and a newly-created Esports Lounge, catering to the new breed of racing and gaming enthusiasts.

This eclectic mix of corporate meeting spaces and adrenaline-filled activity areas has become increasingly popular with guests since its conversion in 2002, having originally been constructed as the base for BMW’s Le Mans project.

One of the highlights of the Conference Centre is undoubtedly Sir Frank’s Williams Heritage Collection – one of the largest privately-owned collections of Formula One cars in the world. Over 40 cars chart the history of the team and include some of the most iconic race cars ever to have competed in the sport.

Guests can view Nigel Mansell’s championship-winning FW14B in the metal, Damon Hill’s 1996 Williams, or the BMW-Williams Jenson Button made his own during his 2000 F1 debut year.

The cars aren’t the only stars on display. A wealth of driver helmets and race-winners trophies line the walls and corridors, whilst the fan shop allows fans the chance to purchase team-kit, car parts and official team merchandise.

Williams is always looking to the future and a brand new Esports lounge is the perfect example of a new-era style of the racing. With 14 gaming simulators, cinema-style viewing area and dedicated pit wall, the lounge offers groups the chance to race side-by-side with friends and colleagues in a simulated environment.

Other activities include pit stop challenges, using full size F1 cars and kit. A supersized four-lane Scalextric also offers something for all ages.

Race days, tours and activities can now be booked online via the williamsf1.com website.
