CTI partners with Concur to enhance expense management offering

CTI, the leading regional travel management company, has announced a partnership with Concur, the global leader in integrated travel and expense management, to offer its customers an enhanced and simpler way to manage travel and expenses.

CTI’s customers will now have access to Concur’s entire technology stack, incorporated into the existing offerings and tools available, including Triplink, which captures and centralises data to ensure those using CTI’s platform have a complete picture of employee spend when travelling for business.

Triplink incorporates bookings made both within the corporate travel system and outside of it, meaning companies can manage more data, allowing for cost savings and increased compliance and control. CTI will also provide its customers with access to TripIt Pro – a traveller-friendly app that manages loyalty cards and shares itinerary information with a pre-selected network.

Completing the product suite is TMC Messaging, an employee risk management and communication platform. This will provide companies using CTI with a system to monitor travel locations (from live travel schedules) and provide advice and security warnings for travelling staff – a legal requirement under UK Duty of Care Legislation. In addition, TMC Messaging can help employees to better manage their trip by advising of flight changes, adverse weather conditions, or unlikely events that might impact a user’s travel plans.

Like all of the products and services that CTI offers its customers, TMC Messaging can be customised to suit each client’s specific requirements.

Clive Wratten, CEO of CTI, says: “Our exciting partnership with Concur is the latest step CTI is taking to enhance its product offering. Enabling our clients to more effectively track and manage their travel expenses – and in a way that is tailored to their needs – is another example of how CTI is fast becoming the trusted travel partner for the business community.”

CTI has a strong history of regional expertise and customer management across the UK, along with an ever-growing international network of partners and clients. Its proven track record in customer service and existing booking solutions means both Concur and CTI customers can now take advantage of more channels and ways to book than ever before.

Eoin Landers, Senior Management for Business Development in EMEA Travel, Concur, added: “Travel is a big expense for companies, but the majority lack insight into this spend largely because employees booking outside of policy and it remains a significant challenge. Organisations want to provide a good user experience, but they need to balance flexibility with cost. After all, if they can’t see it they can’t control it or understand their cash position until a claim is filed – by which point nothing can be done if the flights are too expensive or the hotel not an agreed partner.

“Our partnership with CTI will provide them with a powerful solution to help customers mitigate these hurdles, but also use the data from the platform to drive positive business change and realise economies of scale that otherwise wouldn’t have been possible. We’re delighted to have CTI as a partner and look forward to working with them.”
