Event profs unite to share best practice at clic+ Club event

clic+ Club event at Robinson College Cambridge

Clic+ will bring together event professionals from across the country on 27 January as they share best practice at Robinson Collegeโ€™s event delivery seminar.

The fourth event in the โ€˜Five Steps to Successful Eventsโ€™ series will focus on how to bring your event alive from concept to delivery, bringing together learnings from previous clic+ lectures. Facilitated by David Preston, CEO of the UKโ€™s first event management and assistant apprenticeship programme REALISE, the seminar will consist of a panel of leading individuals from across the industry, who will debate key topics currently defining the world of events. Delegates will also hear from the Clubโ€™s chosen charity Blue Smile and get the chance to support their new campaign.

Attendees will have the opportunity to network during discussion groups focusing on:

  • Event technology
  • Event delivery in Cambridge
  • Blue Smile
  • Sustainable event delivery
  • Event delivery for corporate companies

Rose McDonald, head of sales at Robinson College said: โ€œWe are excited to kick 2017 off with our fourth clic+ Club event. We are committed to bringing the most beneficial and collaborative experience to delegates by creating an environment where best practice can be shared. The session looks set to be the most interactive to date with delegates taking part in discussion groups to build on their experience of delivering memorable events.โ€

Key event sponsors including Absolute Audio, Visual Solutions, Blendology, brandAnonymous, PA Life and Glisser will be supporting the event.

The clic+ Club has evolved from the award-winning clic+ 2014 and 2015 and looks to build on the initiativeโ€™s founding principles: Connect, Learn, Innovate and Communicate. The series focuses on exploring new and innovative ways to run successful events, broaden networks and share best practice within the events industry.

The event delivery seminar will take place on Friday, 27 January between 10.45am and 1.15pm at The Crausaz Wordsworth Building, Adams Road, Cambridge CB3 9AD.

Those who wish to attend the event are encouraged to register their place at robinson.cam.ac.uk/conferences/clic-events/clic-club-events.
