Ex-PA sues Stan Lee for ‘severe’ mental abuse

Another week and another celebrity v. ex-personal assistant lawsuit story is leaking out of Hollywood.

Stan Lee, the Marvel comics mogul, and his wife and daughter are facing a lawsuit from a former personal assistant who alleges he was verbally abused while working for the family.

The Spider-Man creator?s ex-PA Shawn Lukaszewicz claims he was subjected to “severe and constant” abuse by the star, his wife Joan, and their daughter Joan Celia during his employment from October last year to June this year, when he was fired.

In papers filed at Los Angeles Superior Court, Lukaszewicz accuses Lee of verbally abusing him in expletive-ridden rants and alleges Lee?s wife and daughter threw similar insults, according to New York Post gossip column Page Six.

His legal team states: “(Lukaszewicz was) constantly reminded how lucky he was to work for the most powerful people in the entertainment industry, and he, therefore, should ?suck it up? and be thankful for the abuse.”

However, the family is denying the allegations, with a lawyer for Celia responding: “(The lawsuit) should never have been filed and will likely quickly be dismissed… Mr. Lukaszewicz committed fraud, conversion and breach of contract against, and harassed Celia, leading to his immediate dismissal.”

Lukaszewicz is demanding punitive damages for ?severe emotional stress?.
