Forget Starbucks: 10 inspirational mobile working hotspots in London

Flexible working options are on the rise as businesses flex to attract talent

As the trend for flexible mobile working increases, office supplier Staples is encouraging Londoners to get out and work in some of the best wifi hotspots in the capital โ€“ and thereโ€™s not a Starbucks in sight.

New scientific research suggests that working in a public environment can help increase productivity. To aid London-based remote workers, Staples has created an interactive map showing some of the best alternatives to the usual wifi haunts like Starbucks and McDonalds.

The map includes helpful information like opening times, the kind of atmosphere and any extra features the location provides, such as free sockets for laptops or meeting rooms.

The 10 hotspots selected are as follows:

  • The British Library
  • V&A National Art Library
  • Raw Press
  • Timberyard
  • Hoxton Holborn
  • Royal Festival Hall
  • Look Mum No Hands
  • The Barbican Centre
  • Google Campus
  • Sonos Studio
