Yemen has long been one of the poorest countries in the Middle East. Now after five years of war the Yemen conflict has left 12.3m children in need of help.
Children are paying the heaviest price. They are facing a deadly triple threat – bombs, disease and hunger. All funds raised during the Global PA & PA Life Challenge will support Save the Children’s life saving work in Yemen.
And now the impact of coronavirus on Yemen is causing more devastation with half of the country’s health facilities destroyed in the conflict. Schools and hospitals have been caught in the crossfire and the economy has collapsed, meaning even food, fuel and water are beyond the reach of many families.
The country is on the brink. Extreme hunger and disease may have already claimed the lives of up to 85,000 young children. Right now millions of children do not know where their next meal will come from or if it will come at all.
Join us on Friday 9th July at 12.30 to 1.15pm and discover how together we can raise £10,000 to help starving and sick children in Yemen.
