After months of getting used to the loungewear life, Brits are bracing themselves for a corporate culture shock – as a return to the office looms.

Footwear retailer, Shoe Zone, has put together a ‘back to office slipper’ guide on its site to help those heading back to the workplace ease themselves into the clerical groove, after months of getting used to the loungewear life.

With the nation dressing from the waist up and embracing the joggers and a nice top look for those all-important zoom calls, the retailer says it understands the need to help workers keep things comfy, by encouraging people to pick-up a pair of slippers for the office.

It comes as Shoe Zone reports a 467% increase in slipper sales in March 2020 compared to March 2019, showing just how much the country has adapted to a cosier way of working.

The ‘back to office slipper’ edit is aimed at those who are not quite ready to pull the suits and smart shoes back on just yet. Instead, they want to keep some comfiness in their work wardrobe. And who could blame them?
