Hello Hospitality invests in the future of events with #SixOfTheBest initiative

Hello Hospitality is celebrating its sixth birthday by investing in both its offering and a belief in the future of the events industry – supported by a #SixOfTheBest top tips initiative.

Six years ago, Hello Hospitality, (formerly Signature Sales Support & Services), was launched by Kathryn Clarke (pictured), with a passion for the hospitality and events industry, twenty years of experience ย and a desire to support hotels and venues in raising awareness, generating new business and increasing profitability.

Having worked with some of the largest global hospitality brands and independent, unique venues to deliver results, today, at a time when the events and hospitality sector businesses are struggling to survive, Hello Hospitality is investing in the future of the business and in their belief in the future of the events industry.

Clarke said: “2020 has been a challenge for almost all sectors, none more than for the events industry which is still struggling to gain momentum with the uncertainty of the pandemic and our Governmentโ€™s reactions to it.

“The combined value of conferences, exhibitions, and outdoor events such as festivals and cultural events is worth ยฃ70bn to the UK economy each year and employs over 700,000 people across a broad range of businesses. Itโ€™s imperative that we are supported by the government and the corporate organisations that have benefited from the expertise and talent in the industry to create events with the desired ROI to continue to plan events into their future business strategies. As a strong and resilient industry, we have to remain positive that events of all sizes will bounce back.”

Established since 2014, the award-winning service offers solutions for sales and marketing challenges for short- and long-term projects and they are clearly passionate about bringing people together through valued connection for successful events.

2020, will, by far, be one of the toughest years yet for Hello Hospitality, Clarke continues: โ€œWeโ€™re proud to have pivoted the business to ensure it was sustained over lockdown and that six years after we established the business, we still have lots of ideas for the future bubbling away. We have invested in the business over lockdown, expanding our offered services for both event venues and corporate event bookers by building associate partner relationships, the first being with Sarah Spreckley, specialising in blog writing and third party platform updates ensuring our client hotels and venues out perform their competition and by offering increased services to corporate bookers including venue finding and the โ€˜Hello Clubโ€™ network.โ€

To celebrate their sixth anniversary, Hello Hospitality are running a campaign called #SixOfTheBest, sharing six posts of six tips, opinions or ideas with the finale being a Pick โ€™nโ€™ Six, (pick โ€™nโ€™ mix) prize draw competition, which will run until the end of September; with amazing prizes donated by Hello Hospitality and participating venues (The Lygon Arms Hotel, Broadway one of the Iconic Luxury Hotels collection venues and Homewood Bath to name a couple).

The campaign includes #SixoftheBest Lessons Learnt in the six years Kathryn has been running the business, #SixoftheBest things event organisers will need from venues post lockdown, #SixoftheBest tips to maximise venue sales and hospitality revenue, #SixoftheBest services offered to venues and #SixoftheBest services offered to event organisers.
