Historic Royal Palaces details 26th Hampton Court Palace Festival

Historic Royal Palaces and IMG are set to celebrate the 26th Hampton Court Palace Festival this June.

Running from June 5 to 23, the event is expected to attract an audience of 3,000 people for each show, which will boast a line-up of exciting song artists.

Kicking off the festival with his Hampton Court Palace debut is Lionel Richie, followed by Paloma Faith, guitarist Joe Bonnamassa, Jools Holland and his Rhythm & Blues Orchestra.

Taking to the stage in Henry VII’s historic courtyard also includes The Beach Boys, Gary Barlow and Tom Jones.

“We are excited to once again be hosting such world-renowned artists as part of our Hampton Court Palace Festival this year, with one of the best line-ups we have seen to date. The festival is always a stand-out occasion and this year promises to be no different, with our magnificent Tudor Palace providing a striking, and atmospheric backdrop to the celebrations,” said Liz Young, head of events at Historic Royal Palaces.

“All proceeds from events held at the palaces help to ensure they are well maintained, accessible and open for everyone to enjoy, so all those attending the festival will be contributing to the continued upkeep of Hampton Court Palace – alongside enjoying world-class entertainment.”

Before each concert begins, guests will be able to enjoy a picnic in the Palace Gardens, while a range of dining and corporate entertainment options will also be available.

These include afterhours access to the Palace’s State Apartments for a champagne reception and dinner.

Stephen Flint Wood, MD of arts and entertainment at IMG, added: “We are delighted to announce this remarkable line-up of artists for this summer’s Hampton Court Palace Festival.

“Watching some of the world’s greatest musicians in the idyllic setting of the Base Court of Hampton Court Palace is the perfect way to spend a summer’s evening.”
