Job advert seeks PA with self-defence skills and willingness to cut up meals

Would you cut up your boss’s meals before serving it to them? That’s what a new job advert is looking for in a personal assistant.

The role, which has been advertised on Staff Heroes, is offering £75,000 to the successful candidate, who will boast at least 10 years’ experience and will ideally be ‘trained in self-defence or martial arts, however the client is happy to arrange and cover the cost of classes for the right person’.

Cutting up meals will only be necessary when serving him lunch and dinner – while the candidate and client are visiting a restaurant, he will be able to take care of this himself.

The assistant will also be required to work six-day weeks, which roughly equates to 50 hours, as well as being on call 24/7 to meet the client’s needs from organising his diary and sorting his washing and dry-cleaning, to ordering his weekly food shop.

Dubbed as a ‘great opportunity for an experienced PA to further their career and enjoy the finer things in life’, the assistant will have access to the client’s multiple luxury cars when running daily errands, including a Lamborghini, Bugatti and a Rolls Royce, providing they have a full and clean UK driving license of course.

Plus, the assistant will need to be comfortable with flying, as one day the client may be in the Caribbean and by the end of the week he may be in London.

For confidentiality reasons the successful applicant will be required to sign an NDA, while a full security check will be carried out on every shortlisted candidate.
