The first half of PA Life Training Day has come and gone. Our delegates have networked during a tasty buffet lunch served by the Grange Tower Bridge Hotel, and they are now settling in for the next round of seminars and sessions.
Before lunch, some of the attending PAs participated in an interactive session with Janet Rawson from Twisted Events Presents to learn how to tackle difficult conversations. Janet and her colleague Sean Wilton to portray the relationship between boss and assistant, giving the audience the chance to provide their own feedback and learn tips and techniques for dealing with a difficult boss or colleague.
Meanwhile, another group sat in a session by Vanessa Vallely from WeAreTheCity to learn how to build a profile to drive career success. She shared top tips she’s picked up from her own experience rising from a project analyst to a COO who launched two successful businesses.
This afternoon we have sessions on social media for PAs, a guide to perfect events, and introduction to Office 365 and tips for speaking up about your own success, as well as a panel discussion lead by PA Life Editor Amelia Walker.
We’ll be back with a final report on the day this afternoon.
