Mash Media to take over the office* show

It has been announced that Mash Media, the organiser of Confex and The PA Show at Olympia, has acquired the office* show from Diversified Communications.

 office*, which opened at ExCeL London yesterday, was launched by Diversified seven years ago and quickly established itself as the most important event of the year for PAs and Office Managers. The event has an unrivalled reputation for combining high-profile keynotes with a comprehensive seminar and education programme, as well as the centre piece exhibition, which regularly attracts more than 150 companies and is recognised as the most effective platform for companies wishing to meet the important PA and Office Manager community.

Commenting on the sale, Carsten Holm, Managing Director of Diversified says: “office* is a great event, which regularly attracts more than 4,000 PAs and Office Managers who come to network, learn and to talk to potential suppliers. Organising events has always been an important part of their job function, so we were not surprised when Mash launched The PA Show alongside Confex last year, as there is significant synergy between the two events. I’m really impressed with what Mash has done with Confex since taking it over a couple of years ago and I think that a co-locate between office* and Confex, in what will be a perfect date line, makes so much sense and will enable Mash to develop the show to its fullest potential.
