meetingsclub unveils project 3for3 charity initiative

During the three months of August, September and October 2019, for every 3 published reviews made on meetingsclub.com, £3 will be donated by the company to Smart Works Reading, a charity which offers a dressing and coaching service for unemployed women with confirmed job interviews.

The charity initiative comes as Berkshire-based meetingsclub actively encourages its growing member community of bookers & event organisers to leave reviews for meetings, training, conferences & events.

Founder and CEO Alison Jenkins said: “Ever since meetingsclub was launched I’ve wanted the company to actively support nominated charities and to give something back.  We’re a small team but determined to make a difference. Reviews are so important to our members for 3 very good reasons.

“They’re an invaluable source of information, just like having a personal recommendation at your fingertips when you’re making that all important decision as to where to hold your companies next meeting or event, feedback is a gift and isgreatly valued by venues & suppliers as part of their evaluation process for training and reviews are a fantastic way of recognising exceptional staff performance.  We hope event bookers and delegates will get on board and get reviewing to raise money for Smart Works Reading.”

Sarah Burns, recently awarded the MBE for services to charity and Chair of Smart Works Reading, added: “We have a great relationship with Alison and her team at meetingsclub and we’re incredibly grateful for their support in the3for3 initiative, raising funds to help us continue our important work within the Thames Valley, this will make a massive difference.”
