New skills emerging at Training Day

Heading into our afternoon networking coffee break, our delegates are still discovering even more useful skills to take back to the office.

Donna Coulling continues her fun and informative sessions with Broadening the width of responsibilities, striving for excellence, where she’s teaching PAs to understand the ways in which they expand their role every day and how they can take that even further.

Meanwhile, Kim Middleton from Holborn Training is giving a riveting session on Making Microsoft work for you โ€“ getting the most out of Excel and Outlook. Attendees are discovering how to optimise these standard computer programmes to make their job easier.

In a longer session, Angela Garry is teaching PAs How to work for more than one boss โ€“ including prioritising and scheduling. Her audience is learning how to manage their time in order to handle multiple requests effectively.

Adam Fidler is giving a session entitled Revolutionise the way you work with the Five Folder System, in which he’s describing his revolutionary system for dealing with incoming requests. Later, he’ll be teaching us some top tips for Effective boss/PA routines.

If you’re not attending today, be sure to keep an eye out for information on the next event, taking place on Thursday, 12 November. Visit palife.co.uk/trainingday, email trainingcourses@palife.co.uk, or call Jack on 01992 374064.
