No.11 Cavendish Square secures excellence assurance status

Central London venue No.11 Cavendish Square has extended its Gold Level AIM Higher accreditation from the Meetings Industry Association (mia) for a further three years.

The award-winning conference venue in Marylebone has successfully renewed the highest level of accreditation from the association representing the conference, meetings and events sector, having first achieved the Gold standard in 2014. All AIM-accredited venues must undergo an extensive assessment to ensure they meet a comprehensive checklist of criteria, covering everything from facilities and legal compliances to performance against a strict code of conduct. To achieve the Gold mark of excellence, venues must display superior service quality throughout the entire customer journey, with the robust process encouraging continuous improvement to take venues to the peak of service excellence.

Highlighted in No.11 Cavendish Square’s assessment was the venue’s state-of-the-art business support services, the management of staff in securing continuous improvement, its sound financial investment and operational plans, the implementation of frequent benchmarking tools across all levels of staff and the venue’s ongoing environmental commitments in line with its Corporate Responsibility Policy.

“The preparation for AIM assessment is demanding but the rewards are exceptional and No.11 Cavendish Square’s achievement of Gold accreditation for the second time is testament to the venue and its operations team,” said Jane Longhurst, chief executive of the mia. “We are always delighted to see our members successfully renew their status with us, demonstrating the added value behind our assurance of excellence. The iconic status achieved guarantees event buyers that they’re choosing a service provider that operates best practice and has your best interests at heart, ultimately saving you time, anxiety and reputational risk later down the line.”

“We are delighted that No.11 Cavendish Square has been awarded AIM Gold accreditation for the second time, after first winning the accolade in 2014,” Added Nonna Casabayo, business support manager at The King’s Fund, owners of the venue. “It’s a recognised mark of excellence which demonstrates the exceptionally high level of service that we provide, helping us to stand out in a busy market. Since being recognised as a Gold venue in 2014, we have seen an increase in bookings and the award has generated a feeling of pride among our staff about what we do and how well we do it.”
