PA Life Business Travel Masterclass proves a huge success

A group of over 30 PAs got the chance to improve their business travel skills during the first PA Life Masterclass yesterday.

Held at Skinners’ Hall, London, attendees got the opportunity to network with other industry professionals and take part in various roundtables.

On the day Donna Fitzgerald, business development director from Capita Travel & Events, opened the masterclass with a keynote speech, while the roundtable sessions included a look at serviced accommodation from Red-Naxela, crisis management from Prestige Business Travel (a member of UNIGLOBE Travel) and serviced apartments versus hotels from Roomspace.

Guests also got the chance to explore the venue and its halls and chambers, which date back to 1960 when it was rebuilt after the Great Fire of London.

As the first in a series of masterclasses to be held this year, the business travel edition proved a huge success with guests and each sponsor, as 91 per cent cited that they found the organisation of the event very good, while 82 per cent said the event was very useful.

“These masterclasses are an essential part of ones’ professional development and are highly recommended,” an assistant from SF Events, told PA Life.

An assistant from CLH Pipeline System, added: “I found the afternoon very interesting and helpful about ways of making our company more effective and efficient, while saving money at the same time.”

Special thanks to each sponsor of the event, including headline partner Capita Travel & Events and roundtable sponsors, Prestige Business Travel (a member of UNIGLOBE Travel), Red-Naxela and Roomspace.

The next masterclass is due take place on May 29 at No 4 Hamilton Place, which will have a key focus on event planning. Get in touch with Freddi Jackson now on 01992 666720 or FJackson@forumevents.co.uk to find out more.
