PA Life has teamed up with First Event to bring you a virtual Christmas party, incorporating the PA Life Star Awards.
This year the awards will be judged by a panel of industry experts who will decide the winners from a shortlist. The judges are:
Lucy Brazier
Lucy Brazier is one of the world’s leading authorities on the administrative profession. As CEO of Marcham Publishing, specialist publishers of Executive Secretary Magazine – a global training magazine dedicated to the professional development needs of senior and aspiring administrative professionals – Lucy works with the best trainers of Executive Assistants from around the world to deliver the most up to date and current training in the market.
Julie Bales
Julie Bales, PA to Entrepreneur and author Dan Bradbury, and VA/OBM to a number of private clients, has over 25 years’ experience in administration. With experience in the Corporate Financial Services Sector, Charity Sector and Social Care industry, Julie will be bringing a wealth of knowledge to the judging panel.
Yvette Pearson
Yvette Pearson is a Chief of Staff within the Aerospace industry. With a career spanning more than 15 years in various office administration roles, she has worked for start-ups, global blue-chips, and everything in between. Yvette is an international public speaker, blogger, author, and founder of the weekly admin newsletter, The Admin Wrap.
Rosemary Parr
Rosemary Parr founded the Global PA Association & Training Academy in 2006. In the last 14 years the Global PA Association has established itself as a global leader in the training and development of Office Professionals. Rosemary recognised the need for professional development for this workforce sector whilst working for the Chairman of BT plc, Sir Christopher Bland. In 2003 the BT PA Network for Professional Development was founded and chaired by Rosemary.
Claudine Martin
Staff Sergeant Claudine Martin is a serving Soldier in the British Army for the past 14 years. She is the winner of PA life ‘PA of the Year 2019’, shorlisted for ‘Rising Star of the Year 2019’ with Miss Jones PA, shortlisted ‘Women in Defence Awards 2020, finalist for ‘We are the City’ Rising Star Award 2020 and finalist for Secs in the City ‘PA of the Year 2020’. She was featured in PA Life Magazine in summer 2019 sharing her experiences as a Soldier and PA.
Abigail Jones
Abigail Jones is a career Executive Assistant, winner of PA Life Club PA of the Year 2019 and Miss Jones PA of the Year 2018, shortlisted for Anderson Hoare PA of the Year 2019, Outstanding Achievement, EA of The Year 2018, London PA of the Year 2017 and PA of the Year 2016. She was featured on the cover of PA Life Magazine and is a regular contributor to it, and has also been featured on panel shows, key note speeches, articles, summits and workshops with the European Executive Assistant Conference, The Global PA Association, Practically Perfect, LCCI PA Club and SecsInTheCity.
PAul Pennant
PAul Pennant is the Founder, Managing Director and Principal Trainer for Today‘s PA. PAul started Today’s PA with a clear vision: to take his own experiences as a PA, Office Manager and business Director and create training courses that meet the challenging real-world needs and aspirations of modern business professionals. PAul has personally taught PAs from over 4000 companies in over 80 countries around the world.
Hayley Somerscales
PA Life Editor Hayley Somerscales has experience in both print and digital media. In the past she has specialised in digital content, PR and SEO for a range of industries, including medical, travel, gaming and finance. Previous to this she worked as the Managing Editor of a bi-monthly trade magazine focusing on professional clothing. During this time, she worked on large events, such as the annual show and awards, and was part of the Professional Clothing Awards and student design competition judging panels.
