Robbie Williams and Ayda Field to face court over PA’s sexual harassment claim

Robbie Williams and Ayda Field

Singer Robbie Williams and his wife Ayda Field are to appear in court over claims she sexually harassed their personal assistant.

Williams and Field counter-sued Gilles De Bonfilhs for invasion of privacy in an attempt to get the case thrown out, but a judge has ruled the couple must appear in court in Los Angeles on 19 August.

De Bonfilhs, who was reportedly paid £35 an hour to run errands for the former Take That star and his actress wife, was fired after 60 days for misconduct and negligence.

He later made the sexual harassment allegations against Field, saying she disclosed ‘information about the nature and frequency of her sexual activity’ and ‘exposed her naked body’. He is seeking £17,000 damages and an apology.

Williams and Field deny the allegations.
