TAG and Tramada Systems have revealed the first global TMC implementation agreement for tramada, a cloud-based post-booking software platform.
TAG first implemented tramada in Australia, where the software has been in place for a year. The global expansion of the relationship between the companies was driven by the regional results, which showed dramatic increases in automation and agent productivity for TAG after implementing tramada.
“It would be an understatement to say the results TAG has achieved with tramada are impressive,” said Stuart Mackay, Chief Technology Officer for TAG. “The level of automation used during our booking process has increased significantly with tramada, which has improved overall client experience in multiple ways as well as enabling our company to increase cost savings and revenues and improve our ability to be more agile in an ever- changing environment.”
TAG’s implementation of tramada in Australia provides the agency with industry-leading travel management software that supports the company’s growth by improving efficiencies and enhancing productivity, as well as providing agents the ability to spend more time focusing on customer service. Other benefits include access to NDC and other hybrid content sources as well as the use of rich business intelligence in real-time to improve TAG’s bottom- line.
“We are delighted to announce this global agreement with TAG, one of the world’s leading travel and event management companies,” said Jo O’Brien, CEO of Tramada Systems. “Their passion and commitment to delivering a personalised service to their clients is matched by their dedication to seamless processes to reduce friction for their agents and clients. From day one, it was clear to both companies that we have a shared vision for the future and we are excited about this next phase, as we bring that vision to life.”
TAG’s implementation of tramada beyond Australia began in September. The system will be rolled out in the USA in 2020, followed by TAG UK.
