Top Hotels to Network in London

Top-hotels-in-London-Reed-and-Mackay-events-management

The UK has more than 39,100 hotels, making it the top country in Europe for hotels.

And it would be no surprise if it stayed that way, partly thanks to the number of new hotel openings the destination has witnessed in the last year.

England’s capital is playing a vital part in boosting the number of top hotels with quality properties available for staying in, meeting in and networking in. Read on to find out just a few of the highlights, including new hotels on the market or those that have undergone stunning renovations.

The Other House

With an enviable knowledge of property trends in the capital, property expert Naomi Heaton opened this South Kensington-based hotel to go beyond the home-from-home experience. Plus it puts sustainability at its heart. Low-carbon architecture was designed by British artisans and its F&B menus are created using seasonal produce. Yet it’s the décor that will draw the first gasp…described as ‘fantastical and flamboyant, but relaxing and comforting’, its bar and café are an ideal spot to network and meet.

The OWO Residences by Raffles, London, UK

For fans of distinguished British design, you can’t go wrong with the OWO, the first iconic Raffles Hotel in London. The building’s history is palpable through its walls, as the OWO Residences are housed in what was the Old War Office. And it stands in one of London’s most iconic locations, opposite Horse Guards Parade and is a short stroll from UNESCO World Heritage sites, the Palace of Westminster and Westminster Abbey. Yet there’s nothing old-school about its offer; OWO boasts nine restaurants and bars, an immersive spa and 85 Raffles branded residences.

art’otel, Battersea Power Station

One of London’s most anticipated hotel openings, the city’s first art’otel will have its home at the iconic Battersea Power Station.

With a soft launch on 12 December and an official opening in February 2023, the design of the 164-room luxury lifestyle hotel has been inspired by the Power Station’s rich history and heritage. As well as its incredible location, guests and visitors can enjoy food, drink and networking at its TOZI Grand Café, and experience unforgettable views from its skyline restaurant JOIA by Michelin-starred chef Henrique Sá Pessoa.

Also opening in 2023

1 Hotel Mayfair

Set in one of London’s most exclusive neighbourhoods, 1 Hotel Mayfair will span a nine-floor site with gorgeous views over Green Park.

The 200-room hotel – the first UK property under the 1Hotel brand – will champion sustainability alongside luxury, particularly at its restaurant by Michelin-starred chef Tom Sellers.

And its offering will be further enhanced by its five inter-connecting event rooms with state-of-the-art technology, turnkey event planning and bespoke menu offerings.

Luxury 5 Star Hotel | Mayfair | Mandarin Oriental, London

Mandarin Oriental Group has also chosen the sophisticated neighbourhood of Mayfair to open its new London property in Spring 2023, the Mandarin Oriental Mayfair.

While its guests will enjoy the tranquil sanctuary of the hotel that sits on the neighbourhood’s oldest square – Hanover Square – the vibe of its public spaces will be modern and bright, to tie in with the area’s legendary mix of fashion, art, business and media.
