The independent customer experience assessors from LiveTourism, commissioned by the top-flight’s governing body, scored Watford FC’s Vicarage Road Stadium’s hospitality experiences above all of English football’s biggest clubs.
Mandy Lane, Managing Director for LiveTourism, said: “The focus and attention to detail in providing the best possible hospitality experience is a credit to all the staff involved. This achievement is the result of enthusiastic well-trained staff and an excellent quality food offer, skilfully designed and executed.”
Scott Duxbury, Watford FC’s Chairman & CEO, said: “I have already offered my sincere thanks to all of our staff involved in creating such a special atmosphere and experience at our Premier League home fixtures.
“To excel in the eyes of independent assessors is only possible due to the collaborative nature of our work here, allied to a team spirit which is the envy of many other clubs.”
The Hornets’ matchday experiences for home supporters, visiting supporters anddisabled supporters have all improved markedly since the club’s first assessment during the 2015/16 campaign, after returning to the Premier League.
Duxbury added: “It is one thing aiming to provide the highest standards possible at all times, yet for this to happen consistently under the spotlight of Premier League matchdays is an outstanding achievement.
“With new hospitality offerings opening for the forthcoming season, we’ll now enjoy the challenge of maintaining the highest of standards as we welcome more guests to Vicarage Road for a great Premier League experience with us.”
