This year’s winners of the Hospitality Assured Awards have been revealed as part of the Institute of Hospitality’s annual dinner and awards ceremony at The Montcalm, Marble Arch.
Looking to discover the highest performers delivering the greatest quality service in the hospitality sector, the awards also highlight management and operations ability chosen by respected leaders and high-profile figures within the industry. With the sector becoming more and more competitive, and the level of quality growing with each year, the team at Hospitality Assured were impressed with the amount of talent on offer when it came to declaring winners.
“We spend a great deal of our time meeting with and assessing premises not just here in the UK but around the world,” said Hospitality Assured’s Heather Lishman. “The winners stood head and shoulders above the crowd and I would like to congratulate them for all they have done.”
The Best UK Newcomer was awarded to EMCOR UK on Three, the Most Improved Score was awarded to Cleveland Clinic Abu Dhabi – Facilities, Operations & Maintenance, the Hospitality Assured Champion was announced to be CEO of City Catering, Southampton, Steve Price and the Team of the Year was the Bloomsbury Hotel, London.
“Winning the Team of the Year award is an accolade for far more than just The Bloomsbury, it is about our whole team,” said hotel manager of the Bloomsbury, Daniel Healey. “They have worked together to ensure we continue to develop our expertise as we change perceptions around the hotel internally and externally.
“Our fundamental ethos is to engage and encourage our team to become involved in all elements of our ongoing improvements and I would urge all our industry peers to do the same.”
