Friday fun: unusual places to work

Friday fun: unusual places to work. A converted pub in Peckham

Nobody ever said your workplace has to be a boring, bog-standard office. The Telegraph recently did some searching and found a few pretty unusual alternatives to the typical setting in London.

Tired of dry land? Head to Surrey Quays or Regents Canal for boats that can be rented out for as little as ยฃ25 a day. One of them even has wifi, while the other features a projector, printer and flipchart. Alternatively, thereโ€™s a pond-side log cabin available in Enfield thatโ€™s big enough for 10 people.

More cosy options include a converted pub in Peckham, a shabby chic flat in Hackney, a garden shed in Fulham, a funky loft in Harlesden, an eco-friendly lodge in Elstree, penthouses in Little Venice and Canary Wharf and a colourful space in north west London.

If youโ€™re after something even stranger, the list highlights a house in Chelsea complete with a huge hyrdopool and Jacuzzi, an artistโ€™s studio in Soho, a wide open farm field in Cuffley and a listed chapel on Margaret Street that can host 80 people.
