Penelope Alice visits Playboy Club London

The name Playboy didn’t used to immediately come to mind when somebody asks me to recommend a cool venue for events. But my mind has been completely changed thanks to a PA Life networking event at Playboy Club London.

This incredibly stylish venue has something for every kind of event, from standing receptions to sit-down dinners. It’s a really versatile space; there’s The Tale Bar, where iconic Bunny servers add a recognisable and sophisticated touch, Baroque, a stylish live music venue, and a cosy private dining room for more intimate meetings and client dinners. Upstairs, you’ll find a casino offering American Roulette, Three Card Poker, Blackjack and Punto Blanco with classy Bunny croupiers, complete with a restaurant and terrace.

The whole venue is decked out in swish interiors and pictures of Bunnies through the ages. I love the special touch of black-and-white photos, which show off Playboy’s illustrious history.

We were treated incredibly well during the event at The Tale Bar, with a welcome Breakfast Martini – very tasty – followed by free-flowing wine and scrumptious canapés. The gorgeous Bunnies were generous enough to let us take pictures with them on the venue’s Polaroid camera for some fantastic mementos and we went home with a bag full of goodies at the end of the night too.
