Start-ups and entrepreneurial individuals are hot topics in the business world right now. Modern culture leads all of us to believe we can start our own company and become successful, which is fantastic. In a recent article for Forbes, self-confessed โ€˜serial entrepreneurโ€™ Kevin Kruse harkened back to a blog in which Mark Suster said the most important asset in the early days of a new company is the senior team, and getting caught up in admin tasks takes those people away from key issues.

A PA is a brilliant all-rounder in that department. PAs know how to fill out and file important business paperwork, as well as how to arrange meetings and book venues for product launches or investor drinks receptions. But they can also handle all the small stuff โ€“ ordering stationery and supplies for the office, booking facilities repairs, etc.

Kruse points out in his article that some business owners find it difficult to justify paying for a PA. The solution can come in many forms, from hiring somebody part-time to outsourcing admin tasks to a virtual assistant. Either way, youโ€™ll be adding value to your growing organisation in the form of better peace of mind and less stress, which will pay off in the long run.
