30 Euston Square celebrates record high business growth

30 Euston Square has enjoyed a record high in business growth and return bookings in 2017.

The grade II listed conference saw a 12.5 per cent increase corporate direct bookings, which was reflected in a wider 11 per cent growth in the number of events held at the venue.

In addition, of the 1,735 enquiries successfully converted into events, around 35 per cent were repeat bookings, which resulted in a revenue increase of five per cent year-on-year.

“With a 25 per cent increase in the number of Christmas parties, we finished 2017 on a real high,” said Yvette Chatwin, general manager of 30 Euston Square.

“We wanted to grow our direct business in 2017 focusing on optimizing our efficiency, exemplary client support and customer service. This strategy has clearly paid off and I am delighted that it has been reflected across a host of metrics including revenue, number of events and footfall.”

Last year saw the venue introduce the UK’s first online event booking platform, replacing the need to confirm details via phone.

2018 will see 30 Euston Square continue to launch new developments, with the addition of more plant-based menus.

Chatwin added: “For me, the most important statistic is the number of returning clients. Such a high rate of repeat business demonstrates that clients want to return time after time.

“Without the hard work and dedication of the whole team here at 30 Euston Square, that simply wouldn’t happen. I am thankful to them for the energy and commitment that made 2017 such a great year.”
