Alchemy Virtual Assistance launches nationwide franchise

A ‘virtual assistant’ specialist in Northamptonshire is launching a nationwide franchise – with the first ‘Hub’ opening in the New Year.

Alchemy Virtual Assistance has been providing remote PA services and practical support since 2016.

Founder Suzy Sanders says the decision to turn her family-run business into a franchise was always part of a very clear strategy, with more sole traders and business owners now hiring virtual assistants to help manage their administration.

“I set up my business from a home office following the birth of my son because I no longer felt fulfilled or challenged in my career – after my rapid business success, I decided I wanted to give others the chance to achieve the same,” said Sanders who, along with her business partner and husband Paul, has been recognised as a finalist and winner in seven local, regional and national awards since setting up three years ago.  

“The virtual assistance (VA) sector is very attractive for people who want flexibility in their careers because they can work remotely. It’s an expanding industry and we have worked very hard to build a sound client-base in Northamptonshire, before pouring time, energy and investment into creating an efficient and realistic franchise model.”

The franchise plans, which include the opening of the first ‘Alchemy VA Hub’ in Wellingborough in January 2020, were deemed robust, realistic and impactful by judges at the recent Northamptonshire Business Awards, where Suzy was a finalist in the highly acclaimed ‘Innovation’ category sponsored by Elevon and Santander.

“It’s about growing our trusted brand, and empowering and supporting others to build their own flexible and fulfilling virtual assistance businesses, so that they can achieve freedom, flexibility and fulfilment in their careers too, just like I did,” added Sanders.

“We are confident in our proposition, which will also enable more clients across the UK to benefit from our Alchemy VA experience, and are keen to recruit like-minded individuals across the country who want to join us on this adventure.”
